Father's in the Community

                                                              Father’s in the Community
The reason I've choose this topic is to advocate the importance of father’s in the community and the benefits that it produces. Moreover, I am an active member of Community of Father’s based in Schenectady, NY, which teaches the significance of the role as a father to their children and the community in which they live in. This program is to educate our community of the importance that a father presence have in the advancement of the child, home, and community. Fathers are the foundation of the family as well as the cornerstone of any said community. Being responsible for the growth and development of your own child and the children of the community, but the most important aspect is the enhancement of the community in a hole.
Most individuals will attest that having an active father has apparent benefits to the children. Many of us have witness the effects and the profit of fathers being involved in raising a child by providing affection, provision, and well-being. We would also agree that fathers are important because they assistance in the children’s behavior and lessons in solving the problems they may face. Father’s presence serves as a role models in their children’s lives that affect how well they relate to peers and adults outside the home.
However, there has been an abandonment of responsibility in many communities by these men, who produce or create life and neglect to ensure proper education to the future leaders. We as men have an obligation to enhance our future. The reason for choosing this topic is not to look for any form of pity, however to educate the community in which I live to the disturbing effects of father's  not being present in the lives of the children that is fathered by you. It is important to build a legacy for our future generations of children who will grow to hopefully lead by example and influence others to make a change for the better of our community. As a father try to be a great role model to your children and the children of the community as well, to help motivate them to be the best they can be and know that anything is possible. I also would like for my children and others to be responsible parents when they have their own children, this process can only be learned through the activities displayed from a positive role model.
As many studies have shown, children with active participation of fathers in their lives has a preformed higher on cognitive testing compared to those living in a broken home.  Fathers who are intricate in their children's schools and academic achievement, regardless of their own educational level, are increasing the chances their child will advance from high school, perhaps go to vocational school, or even to college.

In conclusion, we as men and young men have to be more conscience in respect to the roles we choose to display to the children we father and those within that same community.
